66' Azimut
A 66' Azimut struck a reef in the Abacos, causing significant damage to its hull. TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale responded with TowBoatU.S. Launch, a 46' Winninghoff equipped with salvage gear. Extensive patching was required at both the bow and stern before the vessel could be dewatered. Once stabilized, it was towed back to Port Everglades with pumps kept at the ready and crew members monitoring the bilge for the duration of the tow.
