TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale received a report of an 82' Hatteras on fire behind a house in Ft. Lauderdale. Crews immediately responded via land and water. The vessel's fire was extinguished by Fire Rescue. TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale immediately deployed absorbent and containment boom to control pollution. The Salvage Team worked for two days to refloat the casualty and secure it for towing. The vessel was towed to a Marine facility in Ft. Lauderdale for emergency haul out. |
