The aircraft crashed in Maule Lake, North Miami. TowBoatU.S. Salvage team was mobilized. The salvage team immediately deployed hard containment boom to prevent any further pollutants from being discharged into the lake. A barge with 165 ton crane was mobilized at the crash site. Several salvage divers were deployed to rig lifting straps around the fuselage of the aircraft. A spreader bar was positioned over the aircraft and the lifting straps were attached. The aircraft was hoisted from the lake and lowered onto the barge. The barge was towed to a location where authorities could investigate the incident. |
