63' Ocean
A 63’ Ocean Sportfish ran hard aground on the backside of Bimini Island in the Bahamas. TowBoatU.S. Fort Lauderdale responded with a 31’ JC and a 28’ SeaArk RHIB. A diver surveyed the casualty’s hull and surrounding bottom conditions, while the crew staged dewatering pumps and waited for high tide. Once the vessel was towed to deeper water, divers conducted an inspection of the running gear before towing the vessel 55 nautical miles back to the U.S.
