Fort Lauderdale, FL 3/29/23 – TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale splashed their latest addition to a very diverse and growing fleet. The new vessel was custom built to their specifications by SAFE Boat International, a company that specializes in custom builds for law enforcement, military, fire and salvage professionals globally. SAFE Boat’s unique aluminum hulled hybrid RHIB is designed to handle rigorous sea conditions while also having the maneuverability, power and shallow draft to satisfy all of TowBoat U.S. Ft Lauderdale’s needs. With an overall length of 31’4”, the vessel is equipped with twin Suzuki 300hp V-6 engines, giving her a 35kt cruise.

The new vessel arrived just as summer approaches. With an increasing number of boaters enjoying time on the water, this new addition will help reduce emergency response time. Being versatile is the name of the game and this vessel is rigged for far more than just towing. She is equipped with a full complement of salvage supplies and equipment. These include crash pumps and patching materials along with a dive tank and hookah rig, all within easy reach to assist vessels in distress. Stationed out of Lighthouse Point Marina, expect to see her around local waters where she can be easily spotted with her trademark red stripe, bell buoy and TowBoatU.S. logo on the sides.
