Company President Larry Acheson commented “For years we searched for an existing product that would fulfill our needs to improve our customer experience, streamline the administrative process and finally bid farewell to paper invoices forever.” The new software which was created in house by the company’s Director of Administration Chloe Collins and IT Specialist Brian Warrick will serve that purpose and more! The software combines the dispatch and accounting function for the company seamlessly. Android tablets are being issued to each captain which will serve as the interface with the customer. Functionality that allows an electronic signature for service and wireless transfer of invoices back to the office has been incorporated. The Captain on board the tow boat will ask the customer to sign the electronic invoice and complete a brief customer satisfaction survey. Additional features of the system include Google Maps app and a marine weather/radar link. Acheson added, “We are confident that the features of this new system will allow us to be more efficient both on the water and back at the office.” The system is currently being rolled out after countless hours of testing.
