Employee Trivia Contests Provide Training, Fun and Rewards!
During recent company meetings, the crew at TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale has participated in trivia contests that test their knowledge on all things BoatU.S. This is a method the company has utilized to make it easy for new employees to learn some basic... and some not so basic policies, procedures and benefits of the BoatU.S. membership program. It also acts as a refresher for the rest of the more seasoned staff to help them stay sharp. Teams compete for bragging rights and gift cards to local restaurants. Director of Sales Barney Hauf noted “We are constantly trying to educate our staff in an effort to provide our customers the best experience possible. Our goal is for any one of our captains, crew and support staff to be able to answer any question related to BoatU.S. membership that comes along quickly and accurately. This is a fun and sometimes rewarding way to get that done!”
