New Winch!

As reported in the last edition of the Offshore Navigator, TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale has added a new Oceanographic winch to their equipment inventory. The hydraulic winch can be utilized on the 96' OSV Richard L. Becker or the company's 46' aluminum work boat. Both boats are equipped with high volume hydraulic pumps to power this winch.

The new winch is equipped with a level wind system and a slip ring for data cable use. The winch features a 17" wide drum with a 9" core. The total diameter of the winch is 20" with a .450" diameter cable capacity of 1700 feet.
